Marking Scheme
For all papers
(a) The General Test: The total number for the general test is one hundred questions for the internal examination. Each question has four options of “a”, “b”,“c”, “d” each. Each question also carries one (1) mark.
(b) Test on Written English: This branch of the examination tests students on such points as syntax, good address and title, neatness of the work, required
number of words, logical reasoning, mechanical accuracy and effective conclusions. The mark as contained by each of these points is as shown below:Logical reasoning 20%,Syntax 20%,Mechanical accuracy 20%,Goodaddress/title10%,Neatness,10%,Requirednumber of words 10%Effective conclusion 10% Total 100%.
(c) The Common Knowledge: The total number for the common knowledge is
one hundred questions for the internal examination each question also carries
one (1) mark.
(d) Test on Spoken English: The total number of the question is ten and marks
are awarded and deducted on each question. The total Marks is one hundred.

Cancel or Change IASE Test Registration If you need to reschedule or cancel your registration, you have up to 4 full days before your test date. For example, if your test is on Saturday, you must reschedule or cancel by Tuesday. The fee to reschedule is US$40 for External and $20 for Internal and you must be paid before you can register for a new date. You can only reschedule or cancel by one of the methods below: Online: Log in to your Iaseb account, and click "Upcoming Tests" on your Home page. Select the test appointment you want to cancel or change, and then click "View/Modify." By phone: Be prepared to provide your appointment number and the full name you used when you made the appointment. Note: You cannot reschedule or cancel by mail, email or at the test center. Refunds If you cancel your registration before the 4-day deadline, you will be not be refunded or any percent of the original test fee you paid. No refunds are given for other services. If you paid by credit/debit card or e-check, the refund will also not be made to the original credit/debit card or bank account you used to pay. Refunds will not be provided: If the proper registration procedures were not followed If the required identification was not presented at the test center
